The first clinical-grade load monitoring portal for healthcare practitioners and coaches. Built on EWMA trend analysis the same methodology used in elite sport now accessible for every recreational runner you work with.
The clinical gap
Bad load management is responsible for up to 79% of running injuries. Without personalized load management, you’re working blind. LODE changes that.
See every patient's load trends with load zone, EWMA trend, and status at a glance.
Real-time RTR mode with re-entry phase and days since last activity.
EWMA methodology the most recent research-based approach.
Compatible with Garmin, other wearables coming soon.
Return-to-run protocol
LODE automatically identifies athletes entering a return-to-run phase and helps clinicians rebuild load safely with objective data instead of guesswork.
Automatic activation of return to run personalized protocol after 14 days of rest for responsible load management.
Portal Features
A clinical command center built for smarter athlete monitoring. Track patient load, monitor recovery trends, generate reports, receive smart alerts, and keep every athlete connected throughout their rehabilitation journey.
See every patient's current zone, pain flags, and load status. Get access to their running data so you can stop guessing and prescribe runs based on objective data.
Per-patient load trend charts showing short and long EWMA lines with zone threshold overlays. The clinical picture, not just a number.
Dedicated RTR view flagging every patient with days since last activity, current phase, and load ceiling. No patient falls through the gap.
Send a message, advice or exercises to your patients. Either vocally, by text or photo/video.
Generate printable or digital load one-pagers for consultations. Hand patients a structured re-entry document they can act on between appointments.
Create mock ups of weekly plans to see what your patient can and can't do. AI with estimate their missing data points (like HR) based on previous runs to help create a personalized mock up. You can then override the plans on the user's interface to have your plan in their recommendations.
Your own share code to connect your patients in less than 5 seconds. Patients choose which data they wish to share, and you have access automatically going forward.
Lode Practitioner can help bridge the gap between rehab and return to run safely. Make the patient feel truly cared for with continuous care based on their data, not guesswork.
The methodology
LODE uses exponentially weighted moving average trend analysis to identify meaningful changes in training load and classify athlete readiness through four evidence-based load zones.
Two EWMA windows a 7-day acute load and a 28-day chronic load track both training magnitude and trend direction. Athletes are automatically classified into four actionable load zones.
